OT -Until we meat again my friends

Post by Doc Hudson »

After almost 19 years of marriage, my wife and I are calling it quits.

I will be moving out of the house Tuesday and will be moving back to South Alabama.

I won't have internet connection for a while, but I will check in when I can.

If any of you want to know my new address and phone number, drop me a PM, I'll try to get them answered before I unplug the confuser Tuesday morning.

If you would, I'd appreciate it if you'd keep Marcia and I both in your prayers. This isn't easy for either of us.

Just remember, Doc, time heals and you're going to feel better. A friend told me that years ago. It was hard to believe but it's true.

Heal well friend. You and your wife.
I hope you both can find the kindness to treat each other fairly, with dignity and integrity.
I hope neither of you "roll over" and your split is equitably designed. There's books on how to split stuff up.

If the two of you are truly not the ones for each other, I pray God sends you both your true life partners and grants you both the wisdom to grab hold and never let go!
Kind regards,
Tycer

I am so sorry for you both. Be assured of my prayers. Don't either of you burn any bridges, for after a period of hurt and pain will come a time of introspection and learning. With some space and time, both of you will be able to see how you could have made the marriage more workable. Perhaps there will be another chance for you both. I know, you can't see that now, but time changes all things.

I feel for both of you. After 21 years togeather, 7 years ago my ex told me she was moving in with another woman. I lost my best friend. I know it's tough but take it from me, it will get better with time. Fill your life with the things you like doing most and remember; it will get better.

Doc - I only know you from your posts here, but I've come to enjoy your thinking on things. Many of us here have been through this heartbreak. I would just like to say that there's life on the other side of it, though initially, that may seem almost impossible. I'll say a prayer for you both as well, and I hope that we all hear from soon. - DixieBoy
