When did that happen?
What does that mean?
Is that a promotion?

Whatever it means it sounds good and I like it.

I better be careful, it might go to my head.

"Emeritus" means retired, essentially.

A not-so-subtle hint from management, perhaps? :D

Emeritus might mean you are now a member on your own merits and not just cause we like you

Terry,
I just looked in the mirror and saw myself looking back at me, so I guess I'm feeling alright. Looks like you'll have to wait a bit to divi up the guns.

I think the next step up is 'Ph.D (Lever Guns)'. Then we'll have to call you 'Doctor Miller'. :P

Dr Miller ...... :D , that reminds me of a story. Many summers ago way back in Phoenix I knew a really good gunsmith. He was so good some folks called him Dr Hill.
One day I went into the store for something and he came out of the back wearing surgical scrubs. It turned out his wife came up with them some how and since folks called him Dr Hill he put em on to work on guns. My story didn't do it justice, but at the time it was funny as can be.

Over the hill, and I'm telling stories from long ago far away.

Oh dear.

Since my wife was blinder than me, we had to do hers first. If we'd did both of us at the same when ..... ( I been watching too much Cisco Kid lately  ) there would have been nobody to drive her up and back. Here next and last check up is after the first of the year. If all is well, then she gets to chauffeur me around while mine is done.
