From the Patriot Post

“Democrats who supported a House resolution to honor Ramadan voted against a similar resolution to honor Christmas and Christianity... 18 Democrats voted ‘nay’ or ‘present’ on a resolution to ‘recognize the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith.’ An eagle-eyed Republican House staffer points out that those same members, with one exception, voted to ‘recognize the commencement of Ramadan,’ a Muslim religious observance in October. Nine Democrats voted against the Christmas resolution. They are: Rep. Gary Ackerman (N.Y.), Rep. Yvette Clarke (N.Y.), Rep. Diane DeGette (Colo.), Rep. Alcee Hastings (Fla.), Rep. Barbara Lee (Calif.), Rep. Jim McDermott (Wash.), Rep. Robert Scott (Va.), Rep. Pete Stark (Calif.) and Rep. Lynn Woolsey (Calif.). Another nine Democrats chose to vote ‘present.’ They are: Rep. Hon Conyers (Mich.), Rep. Barney Frank (Mass.), Rep. Rush Holt (N.Y.), Rep. Jan Schakowsky (Ill.), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.), Rep. Peter Welch (Vt.) and Rep. John Yarmuth (Ky.) Each of them supported the Ramadan resolution except for Rep. Lee, who did not vote.â€
Kind regards,
Tycer

I am amazed. Illinois three socialists ..... 'er democrats didn't vote in any of those. I'm not sure what to think of that.

I honestly think the muslim religion will be the "one world" religion in the Book of Revelations, and that's NOT a good thing.

We're so worried about offending these creeps and they want to crush us. I just don't getit, so in my simple mind, it has to be God letting His plan come to fruition.

That is a terrifying thought. I hope I don't live to see that.

Shame on them, there are at least a few from Florida. I wonder if there was other stuff wrapped into one or both of these resolutions.

Not surprising that the mumble-mouthed, godless homosexual Barney Frank voted that way, and I'm glad I left MA.

I am also glad to not see any GA representatives listed here, for it would surely mean their demise as elected officals here in this state. It's good to be in the south.

Gonna' be a hell of a fight before that happens. And when that's over, there won't be anyone left to worship anything. I figure this ole' rock is gonna' glow for a few hundred thousand years.

Don't worry Tycer - none of our representatives from either of the Carolinas were dumb enough to vote that way. I was surprised to see someone from VA voting pro-Muslim/anti-Christian (time to call a spade a spade fellows); you'd think folks in the south would have more common sense!

Oh - FL isn't part of the south - that's just the retirement home for displaced Yankees from the northeast!

I'd expect as much from Schakowsky. She'll say or do just about anything to show how progressive she is, as long as she's railing against the "correct" enemies: anyone to her right including other Democrats, Christians, Republicans, Jews who have gone off the reservation (so to speak) and gun-owners.

So, yeah, pretty much 80% of the population can be labeled "enemies of the People" to her.
