American Rifleman article on Mil Surp rifles

Post by raven5 »

Trying to find a copy of American Rifleman around a year ago, maybe two, that featured mil surp rifles turned into hunting rifles. Talked about the Enfield and Mauser 98, can't remember the others. Fear I loaned that copy out since I can't find it. I know it isn't more than 2 years old.

The author put regular stocks on them I believe and a low cost scope. The idea of the article was low budget hunting rifles using mil surp rifles. Maybe the Mosin was another rifle... Anyway, just wanted to find the issue or at least know what issue it was in.

Thanks guys.
