How good lookin' is the gal you're keeping this horse for? If she ain't puttin' out, I'd shoot the horse.

Anything with arab in it are definatly more UP than other horses. The only half arab that I still have is morgan/arab. But there is nothing causual about riding him . He likes to crow hop out of the blue. Not talking about Red , but I've never hesitated to get rid of a horse that could bring harm to people. There is plenty of good horses out there. Specialy these days . I have people trying to give me horse all the time. But the pasture is already full.
Morabs are generally goofy as a hundred head of sheep in a windstorm, and they're worse than most "goofy breeds", because being half Morgan, (a light draft breed) they're pretty stong. Being half arab, they're nimble as hell, and like to do that raring up on one hind leg, pirhouette thing. I hate that! When they come down, you never know if it'll be on all fours, or on your leg!

Tie downs and womper stomper bits and more barrel pattern.... and they wonder why they get a high headed horse that acts like a mental case.

I was down to the local indoor arena a few years back, watching the barrel racers, and trying to drum up some shoeing business, while visiting with the owner of the arena. I commented on this one chubby ole gal taht couldn't get her horse within ten yards of a barrel, when he kinda snickered, looked around to see who was listening, then tittered, "....and she's the trainermost of 'em use!"

keeping you humble , that's what horse critters are all about.
the other day i went to pull a gelding out of our round pen , and
when i opened the gate he came out right over the top of me ,
not being mean , just had a hair up his butt. i could almost hear
him laughing while he ran around with his tail up over his back.

i was not hurt , and i'm glad you were not either.
careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
