Guyette and Deeter auction

Post by 6pt-sika »

Drove up yesterday to St. Michael’s MD and previewed the Guyette and Deeter auction that will take place this Saturday . Had some nice items number one on my list was a Parker DH 8 gauge fluid steel barreled gun , guns been totally redone but fluid steel 8 Parker’s of any grade are rarer than hens teeth . Second on my checkout list was a Parker DHE 10 gauge fluid steel barreled gun , also rare with fluid steel barrels and ejectors . The stock on the gun was replacement but it looked good . Third was a Parker Grade 5 10 gauge top lever hammer gun on a #5 frame . 5 frame guns are kinda rare as that’s only the fourth I’ve ever seen in person , but being a Grade 5 makes it doubly rare . The last on my must see list was a Parker CHE 16 gauge 26” vent rib gun in skeet configuration , single trigger , wide forend , ejectors , checkered butt and a straight grip . I’d like to add all four but I suspect it would take 75-85k so most likely I’ll just watch the auction on the net , after all the Parker’s in the auction are the first forty or so . They do have a Parker AH and a Parker AAH , but that’s oughtta my spectrum . https://guyetteanddeeter.com/

Failed to mention it was pre planned to meet three friends at the preview then we eat lunch at shoot some sporting clays . We got away from the auction house a bit late but did lunch and then went to Schrader’s and shot fifty targets . All in all a good but tiring day ! I walked out my front door at 6:15 AM and walked back in at 9:20 PM .
