Happy Birthday mod71alaska
Have a Great Day Victor.....

Re: Happy Birthday mod71alaska
G'day John.
I have no direct evidence, but I don't think Victor is with us any longer....
He and I corresponded via PMs many times as he was next door in New Hampshire. After learning I was a boat owner in Maine, he sent me a set of laminated charts of the New England coast -- for free, as he used to have a boat on the coast north of here. I thanked him profusely by PM and we'd chat by PM once in awhile; but then a while later I saw that he hadn't replied to a PM... And if I recall correctly (as this was many years ago), I sent a letter to him at the address that was on the package the charts came in -- but I never got a response back.
I don't want to think the worst, but I did appreciate his friendship while it lasted.

I tried PMing a couple years back and didn't hear back. Victor sold me a Henry .22 for my son's first rifle when he turned 12. He's 28 and still loves it. He ws very generous with the price.
