This morning I primed 5 410 hulls, loaded 5 with 5.5gr Greendot and paper towels wadding to increase the report, a half box of loaded 410s. Then I loaded Sage in the truck, my CZ 410 and we went over to the farm.
Throwing a retrieving dummy, I'd pop a primed case. Sage didn't show any concern. Then I'd throw the dummy and fired the paper towel stuff. A little bit more reaction by Sage but she continued to fetch. Then the full power stuff, she would stop at the shot but continued to fetch the dummy.
Over the next few weeks I'll continue to get more shooting around her. I'm not concerned of gun shyness as she didn't tuck and run!
Then off to the pet store to get food and visit. On the way home in her spastic puppy brain she slid off the seat and put a foot through the bag of food. The bag then proceeds to dump about 5 quarts of kibble into my tool belt, cordless tools!
Now you can laugh!
