It was a Model 10 Day
I dug out my old "home-made" Model 10 and spent an hour with it, flinging lead projectiles downrange. I am not a double-action guy having spent the majority of my 78 years with single action sixguns. In fact, I only own 2 double action sixguns and I rarely shoot them. But the Model 10 is so easy to use and so accurate that it makes me look good! I really do need to take it out more often.

JimT, if you'd skipped your morning coffee those groups would all be one-holers...

One of the finest DA revolvers ever made in my opinion! I love my Model 10 and wont ever sell it!

I use that 3 grains of Bullseye load under a 158 cast bullet more than any other.
Good shooting Jim.

Those targets were "The Best of the Day." I did not take photos of the worst.

I understand! I don’t generally show all of my targets with the exception of the “first five” photos.

is the Model 10 the same as the Model 66, only different? my 66 is more accurate than I am, AND it has the best trigger on any firearm i have . . .

I've had a Victory Model and other Model 10s for decades, but one that's become an all time favorite is this RHKP I bought from an estate a couple of years ago. With a load similar to Scott's, it's just downright fun! I still have the original grips, but the stags and T Grip were looking for a home.

I have a heavy barrel model 10 like yours too. They really are fine guns but like you, I don't shoot mine often enough. Ya can't beat them for fun, economical shooting.

I had a RHKP Mod 10 it put many a squirrel and rabbit on the table.
I have a Victory model now, but I would like to find some original grips or something similar to replace the Pachmayers it came with.
