A lot of companies are not ending it , they just stop talking about it.
From a reuters article…
But he said dropping references to ESG would not change BlackRock's stance. The firm would continue to talk to companies it has stakes in about decarbonization, corporate governance and social issues to be addressed, he added

I’m happy to see companies publicly repudiating this kind of thing, even if they really don’t mean it.

People need to wake up. When Elon Musk (whatever you might think of him) came in to Twitter he fired a huge part of the work force THAT WAS NOT WORKING!!!!

People who are so obsessed with their self identity simply are not great workers.

I'm just stunned that so many companies are so clueless on who their customers and market are.

Let's see, JD produces whiskey, fossil fuel to plant, tend, cut corn. Then trucking. Chainsaws cutting trees to make barrels, not to mention charcoal production for filtering.
Seems to me all the processes for making fine sippin liquor goes against ALL the climate eco-terrorists beliefs. I'm surprised they didn't just lock the doors and walk away.
However thier admitting they screwed up with the DEI krap might give me an excuse to buy a bottle or two.

That makes me want to calculate which bottle is the most offensive to these folks.

But who has time for that?

I don't need any excuse -- I just like it.

I wish my own company would make DEI become DOA...
