LCP, LCP II?

Post by 1894cfan »

Anybody know if the LCP and LCPII are the same size? Is the LCP II larger? Would like to get a holster for the LCP, but these days all that's listed is for LCP II. :? TIA

Just type in LCP Holsters and do a search. Lots of LCP holsters available on Amazon and eBay. Probably others -- stopped looking after those two.

Saw a De Santis crossdraw on sale at Midwayusa for an LCP II and was wondering if it fit the LCP also.

.
You might try the 'Handgun Hero' website - I've not 'validated' things it says, but it looks pretty straightforward -

https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/rug ... -ruger-lcp

It has great graphics on gun size comparison - I use it to clip graphics of guns for the 3x5 cards I make for my inventory, being too lazy to photograph my own actual firearms in a consistent manner.

I was thinking BlaineG here had one and upgraded so he might chime in.
Or Ruger might have info on their website regarding holster compatability.

Thanks, AJ. Width is .92 for the LCP II and .81 for the LCP, not really enough to worry about, but decided to pass on the crossdraw holster anyway.
