couple of fun new projects - 1911 and J frame content

Post by Streetstar »

Happened upon a gent offloading some parts and accessories and i took home some Elk antler grip panels to pimp out my Delta

Look great but are a bit chunky -- a lot chunky actually - guessing will need a bit of belt sander time will be in order

Next up is a curious little Model 60-3 i traded into. J-Frames are like Lays potato chips , no one should have just one, but this one is two tone with a blued cylinder. It functions and fires great but i am wondering if some of them left the factory like this as ive seen lots of variations of Lipsy's or Davidsons Specials -- - or if i just have a mutt revolver that had its cylinder replaced at some time in the past for an unknown reason

Two swell shooters, Doug. I will have to quit cropping the shoes out of my pics, too.

Love the grips on the Delta! Looking for a set for the new(old) 9mm. There's a guy that sets op a some of the local shows than makes some really nice looking sets and reasonable too.
