Missed qualifying today

Well Fridays are the qualification day for me ,monthly shoots on Hawks BR Forum. Got the 1971 old model single six out both main groups were good but had one flyer in each taking keeping me from qualifying this month.

Qualification is 10 shots under 6" at 25 yards Standing Offhand . Unsupported bullyseye or two hand stance.

I shot one of each ,finished box on the 15 shot target .
Anytime you can get out with a sixgun and shoot it's a good day!

Way to go! I need to get out and shoot handgun more, although in my current case it's usually pellets as ammo's hard to get here. Years ago I beat my winning score in a local contest by using a Crosman 1377 pump pistol. Did better with it than with the borrowed 22 revolver I'd used for "official score". Standing on one's hind legs and shooting unsupported is the way to go.

I need to try some different target ammo ,the bores in these latter single sixes are .224-.225 .larger leaf moly coated target like Rem target or similier usually do better.

We all have those days, better luck on the next try. I will have to give that a try with my revolvers.
