I was stationed in Egypt back in 1986 and we frequently went into Israel for supplies. We had a truck that was hauling soda that went over on it's side just near the Rafa right outside the Gaza Strip. Anyway, the Army decided they needed to put a bunch of us out there to guard the load until it could be recovered. Needless to say, a bunch of Bedouin Kids and adults decided they could get us to abandon our position and decided they were going to rock the pelosi out of us until will retreated. When you have that many rocks coming at you, they TRUMP a Maddox Handle any day of the week.

We called higher and reported the assault, which the IDF took very seriously. They rolled up out of no where in 3 HALF-TRACKS within about 10 min. of us calling it in. It had a .50 M2 blazing letting the Bedouin's know they would have to deny themselves the load of soda pop that they apparently had such a hankerin for. That incident forever put an imprinted figure in my mind when anyone brings up HALF-TRACKS.
