Getting Back at the City/Homeowner's Association...

Post by Old No7 »

This is CLASSIC!

A boat owner (it's an Arima, the same make of the boat I own) got a nastigram letter from his city or HOA (not sure which, as I've seen 2 articles mentioning both) saying that the view of his boat from the street was an eyesore, and they demanded that he install a fence.

Well he did -- but fences need to be painted, right? So he did that too!

I think the artist did a fantastic job! Take that, you overbearing city/HOA you!

Other neighbors now want murals of their "eyesores" too.

How much you want to bet that city council is now changing the ordnance to prevent this from happening again!

Arima builds a great boat! For a time we lived in a community in central Oregon that prohibited storing boats outside. Knew it going in, but still.
