I imagine that th old site, as we knew it, is certainly gone. From a previous post it appears that the software used is no longer supported. I imagine - just a guess (and hope) - that we'll have this site or something very close moved over to it when they can merge the two. It will be great to have all of that history again - especially with a search function that works!!! :D

Where do the old files dwell? Who has them or controls them?

Last time I looked, it's still there. http://www.leverguns.com

Now, if you're talking about the forum that was hosted as http://leverguns.sixgunner.com - yep, it's pretty much history. Don't know what's up with the old files and if they'll put it up as a searchable database or not. Only time will tell. This has been discussed various times and in various threads. Do a search for "old site" or "leverguns site" or "old forum" or "leverguns forum" and you'll probably get as much dirt as we have on the subject at this time.
