But that number is not exact and will change due to dross loss, tin, antimony and arsenic added to the mix, the alloy not casting exactly 170 grains due to different densities, melt and mold temp when casting...........

Ted, actually, 79 x 5 x 52 =20540, more than four times the amount of bullets he could make. VBG :D

now all i have to do is buy all my reloading equipment and amnuals and brass and primers and powder and well you get the idea. i,m just starting in this hobbie so i will be asking alot of dumb questions so i don't kill myself or anyone else a friend of mine is in the scrap business and ask if i could use it paying .90 a lbs no battery lead :) he is trying to find more for me can't hurt to have it around. now what do ineed to get started? best pots dies ect. thank you sirs for your help.

go over to the cast boolits site you can read all the answers to your casting questions without asking them.
