Pretty interesting where the metal was brittle near the re-mil weld and failed even with the sleeve. I’m not really surprised but it’s still interesting.

It certainly illustrates how important safety gear is. If there was enough force to blow his glasses and helmet and plate (carrier plate) off, he would’ve been blind, probably missing pieces of skull, and I had a caved in or penetrated chest.
