Airlines and ammo?

Post by Tycer »

Is primed brass viewed as the same as loaded ammunition in checked baggage?
Kind regards,

This day and age who knows, best bet would be to call the airline and ask. Bet if you called repeatedly and spoke to different customer service representatives you would get different answers!

I can pretty much guarantee that if you asked 10 different airline representatives, you'll get 12 different answers...

Not to mention they most likely will not understand the term "primed brass". I'd want it in writing no matter what anyone says as a CYA safety measure.

Advanced research (consensus) leads one to the conclusion loaded ammo is the only allowed. Simply asking to many questions can now raise "flags".
