range time

Post by oldebear1950 »

I took my two new lever guns , one Henry all weather 45-70, with the loading gate, 18.5 inch barrel. I was using some ammo I loaded up the last time I was stationed at the COAST GUARD, base, Kodiak, Alaska, in 1983.
I was not sure it would even work, but it shot beautifully, and one three shot group touched for accuracy. I guess I did something right back then. I was shooting 350 grain, with IMR 3031, and the ammo worked great
I also shot my new Rossi stainless 38/357 with 38 ammo, and it also worked great

You can just edit it as the original poster. Use the little pencil button in the upper right corner of the original post.
