Re: Does your wife put ‘Garden Gnomes’ in the flower garden…?
My wife has put all sorts of stuff in the yard and flower beds. But until recently she avoided gnomes. Said she didn’t like them. But she found a “cute” one. Now they seem to be magically appearing everywhere. Next March I intend to salt the earth with leprechauns and let them go at it. Winner takes all.

The only legitimate use for them as I see it.

All I know is years ago gnomes would find their way to my house around 4th of July and they gave their all trying to out run BP and store bought stuff.
Best ever was a plastic bunny that was about 18" tall. Had a hole in the bottom. A film canister fit easily. Fill canister with BP, push fuse through top- light fuse- bunny over the top and next thing the bunny was airborne!
Good ol Bert !!
