.32-20 Range Results

Post by RJS »

Hey guys ,awhile back I posted about my problems with my .32-20 cl. I was having difficulties finding a bullet that would not jam into the rifling at a reasonable c.o.a.l
Well It sure likes the Speer 100gr. jhp and 8.0gr 2400. It also seems to like RE7 and the same bullet, but I have not shot that on paper yet. This was done with open sights at 50yds., 6 shots. I hate buckhorns cannot see worth a darn anymore!
Just wanted to say Thank You again for all the advice that you gave me

My 1894CL likes the 115gr Laser Cast, with 9.5gr of 2400. I tried other powders, but did not get consistent groups. I also found as I worked up from 8.0 grains to 9.5 grains the groups really tightened up.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Looks real good to me, I sure love my old 1892 32wcf rifle.

Nice shooting - I agree a good peep on the back end could help tighten those groups up.
