Yeah, it seems we've all suddenly turned old.

One thing about Ed, he had everything from plate spinners to the hottest rock and roll groups. It really was a family show for the entire family.

Never cared for the beatles. Always thought their music was much better done as instrumentals.
Ed Sullivan was a class act. Always enjoyed Senor Wences. For those not familiar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEio4rQDU5A

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

I once posted my feelings on the Beatles on Rimfire Central and received a lot of flack from Beatle fans, it kind off put me off the forum.....

I agree. I was almost an outcast in H.S. because I wasn't a fan of the Beatles. Still today, I'm not a fan of that music. Now, true Rock and Roll from the early 50's is classic!Ray Newman wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 10:06 pm Never cared for the beatles. Always thought their music was much better done as instrumentals.

I remember when I was in the service and a 25 yr old 1st Lt was called the 'old man'. Now I'm 3 times that old and don't feel any different than I did way back then. Low blood pressure, slow heart beat rate, great health and good exercise in spite of the inevitable aches and pains are my gifts so I'll take them and still pretend I'm 30 . . . . ish.
