Hunting Morel Mushrooms...

My biggest reason for failure in hunting morels is I never seem to drop down much below 70 hour work weeks, but even if I had the time, I think I'm a pretty crappy mushroom hunter.

Of course maybe I'm using the wrong kind of firearm....

I would think that since mushrooms are sort of an old-timey thing and aren't prone to attack when cornered, that something like a 32-20 with soft lead bullets would be ideal and plenty-capable, but the problem is you have to find them to shoot them...!

I miss my old Oregon Cascades morels, but have been informed that they do in fact grow here in Texas. Pleases me no end!

Doc you don't need much more than an air rifle for hunting mushrooms! Heck .22 shotshells are enough

I dont like fungus so you guys can fight over my share of em.
