Creepy radio transmissions
It's 2025 - "Cutesy Time is OVER....!" [Dan Bongino]
Re: Creepy radio transmissions
I had an old tube Hallicrafter all band receiver in the1980's and used to pick up stuff like this all time as I ran through the frequencies.
Re: Creepy radio transmissions
radio transmissions are easily found by direction finders if they are fixed. i would guess they might be mobile to avoid triangulation. HF is good technology. It doesn't have trackers or tracers built into the rf. unless of course it's a digital broadcast over rf...a low power transmitter can communicate around the world when the ionosphere cooperates.
there are still many ham radio operators who still pursue the wonders of the ether. I've talked to ships and airplane drivers and commies behind the iron curtain, by voice and morse code.... there are messages flying all around us and thru us constantly.
what's creepy about that?
LOL

Re: Creepy radio transmissions
I have QSL from all over Europe and South America that I did on 11 meters with 3 watts and a home-made antenna.
Re: Creepy radio transmissions
Yeah, low power is amazing. now days hams send out low power beacon signals and operators can hear which frequencies and which direction the long range comms are open. good stuff.
