I put my 1-4 power scope back on my Marlin 375 yesterday and noticed that the dot on the rifle is missing... Guess that is something that I won't be getting from Ruger as a replacement. That red dot would stick out like a sore thumb on my 1978 vintage Marlin! (Or at least so sez the serial #).

Actually, it would quickly distinguish which is which when reaching to the gun rack in a hurry.
