OT Clements last DA

Post by RonEgg »

I see an occasional post about handguns so thought I would add one more.

David Clements on 1 Dec 2007 quit working on double actions, suggesting everyone go to Bowen. I think I got mine to him the last couple days of November, didn't even know about the upcoming cutoff date. In any event this was the last one he built. It was also just before Ruger came out with their 4" Redhawks. I can't describe everything to do with the Redhawk Conversion Package as it was on David's old website and on the work order it just said "Redhawk Conversion Package." Bowen rough country rear sight, bead front sight, eagle ebony grips, bead blasting and chamfering cylinder is all I can think of at the moment.

Ron, stuff like this makes it harder for me to resist the urges I have for buying a Redhawk. :?

Beautiful gun and I like the satin look too.

Yup, definitely looks good. And that is a Lever friendly piece; not OT IMO.

I saw "Redhawk" & thought, 'I ain't interested', theN scrolled down and saw the pic, thought, 'tastefully done'. And then scrolled down TO the closeup of the barrel & said OUT LOUD:
