It’s looking as if I might just be headed to Hemingway SC for the Fall Southern Side by Side in October . I went last year and enjoyed it , but I’d talked myself out of going this year . Then the last couple days some friends have been after me to go again My willpower to say no is about shot , but I think I’ll shoot a few events less than last year if I go !

No there aren’t usually any vendors at this shoot . Three or four for sale we’re leaning against a tree last year from
a private collector and of course what were in the racks at the pro shop in the clubhouse . But I’ve actually decided to start trimming and eliminating the herd . I’m trying to liquidate properties etc and be prepared to move to the Philippines by the first quarter of 2024 .

If I make it to the fall southern my plan is to take only six guns . Hammer 10 and hammerless 10 12 16 20 and 28 . Shoot five sub events on the course as well as the main event and then do the 12 16 20 28 and hammer challenge 5 stand events . That’ll be about 660-700 targets in four days and of course if I go I’ll arrive a day early and shoot a practice round !
