BIL was stabbed high in the back inches from midline, about a year ago. He was out for a walk when attacked from behind by two 16 year olds and kicked in the head after the stabbing, busting an ear drum. He no longer lives in the city but relocated to middle of nowhere, and is a proud new gun owner. Be hard to find a nicer guy.

I've been known to walk with a revolver in my right hand and my finger behind the double action trigger for safety, the thumb of that hand keeping a paper bag over the revolver so it just looks like I'm carrying a paper bag.

That was the way I walked home about a mile at 2:00 in the morning finishing my shift as a pharmacy intern in the hospital pharmacy in Cincinnati. Both the hospital and my apartment were in very bad neighborhoods.

On a very hot day when I walked down the rural road we live on to view a flood at the nearest bridge, I did the same thing because it was too hot to deal with more clothing than running shorts, and my teenage daughters were with me. I might have grabbed a Mini-14 or AR-15 for the walk, but decided not to bother. So Mr Redhawk was in a paper bag with us during the walk. A car load of probably drunk young men actually passed us and then on the return trip decided to come to a stop and make various lewd suggestions as to what they wanted to do with and/or to my daughters. Kind of like happened in Cincinnati a few decades ago, all I had to do was relax my thumb and drop the paper bag, and all of a sudden the guys who were ready to hop out of their truck and grab some women for a good time, seemed to change their plans for the day.

The only Good thing that came out of the murder of Bobby East is that agents killed the slimeball that stabbed Him. may have saved some more innocent lives. another one that should have been kept in jail.
