I don't think you'd need to be allergic to those - they look like they are the size of crows!!!

That's amazing. I had an episode where I stepped by accident into a nest of those ground nesting yellow jackets, only 1 got me, it was enough. My hand looked like a small boxing glove! :x
I didn't fail the test, I just found 100 ways to do it wrong.

We have some VERY large, aggressive and nasty looking hornets down south. First time I saw one of them I thought it was a hummingbird! Darn things are HUGE! So far, knock on wood, I haven't got stuck yet.

When I was a kid my brothers and I, being stupid, used to stick things into ground hornets/yellow jacket holes. These were much smaller than the ones down here (that was in Indiana), but still very aggressive. I remember once we stuck a coke bottle into the hole, and laughed a bunch as they flew into it trying to escape. We then thought it would be fun to throw rocks at the bottle to rattle it and P-O the yellow jackets. Only one of us threw a rock too hard and busted the bottle! Darn things were on us faster than Rosie O'Donnell on a donut!

Did we learn our lesson? Do boys ever???

Everything posted lately is on some sort of video. Usually U-tube. I'm on a dial up, ancient Win 98SE box with a cranky modem and it takes a half hour to down load a 5 second clip.
I wish you guys would just post pictures for cryan out loud.

Ysabel Kid, since neither of us seem to have anything else to do, (were both almost always on the this forum) it's too bad we aren't closer together. We could go bust some caps, and have some fun.

Just one would be a trip to the ER for me.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.

Joe, that would be fun - busting some caps. I don't think I'd say I don't have anything else to do though. I do almost all of my posting between 10:00pm (or later) and midnight - after the wife and kids have gone to bed. I'll sometimes sneak a peek during work hours - might even put in a fresh post or reply, but I don't do that too often as my company does occasionally watch our internet usage - during work hours. Even for me working from home, as they pay for the service.

I've just been working out of the home office the last couple weeks - trying to catch up and give my budget a rest. Work has been very stressful, and I find myself looking forward to spending an hour or so with all of you on this forum each night. It does relax me a bunch - even the heated political posts!

But now I find myself in a quandry - I've been gabbing so much here, I'm about to surpass Hobie's post total! It is probably in bad form for me to do so, so I'll need to tone it back a bit!!!
