Yes the humble Jerry Can is often overlooked but was one of the great designs of the 20th century.

It certainly beats the 21st Century, EPA approved replacement. One thing on the American version I quite like, is that standing seam at the bottom. Makes a grand handhold for controlling the rate of pour. Mine has either sat on a concrete floor or held in a rack for over 45 years and still holds whatever liquid I keep in it. Wish I could find a couple more... Even surplus outfits can't sell them in Dallas, some city fire code thing... !
