He has hired on at Ruger and is learning how to hammer forge barrels, cut dovetails, turn threads and fit stocks. He is too busy to stop by.

So the orthopedist gave mom a gel shot in each knee yesterday. He said I don't know how you are still walking on those knees. She is very afraid of replacement surgery. And still not ONE of the family has called to say hi... F-n sad!

Sorry your mom is struggling Gunny. Hopefully the shots give her some relief. I can understand her fears. I've seen people with knee replacements that have been wrecked, and I've seen them that have bounced back like nothing happened. Who knows....
My mom said her hip replacement was nothing compared to this hernia operation as far as pain and being debilitated.

I can't get a good read on the forecast, snow, rain, ice, sleet all from this storm coming. This one named Oaklee. Do you why every storm is now named? If its an unnamed storm and there is damage to your home then the insurance company HAS to pay for repairs. If its a named storm they are off the hook. Just pay your premiums, it'll be alright.

Let's clarify .....my son's account "Jay Bird" was deleted 100% by the ones in power......that why if you look back to page 111 you,will see Jay Birds "posts" amount to 2.....it's a new account that Old Savage stole and as I'm a vindictive individual, Fred is OFF the P.I. Thread for being dishonorable..........he gets a "dishonorable discharge".

Gunny....that's just how people are...f.u.'ed. Be glad you don't have a sister that had a will that she tricked my father into signing after my mother died that gave EVERYTHING to her ......luckily, my dad found out about it a year before he died. He told me,"I don't remember signing anything like this, your sister told me it was for the death certificates".

Then there was the brother who made false claims to the state police to get me in serious trouble.......I had to fight my own family......and my brother and sister are wealthy indeed.......there were both very jealous of my relationship with my dad.....

At work, I had to worry more about the "fellow union brothers" than I did management........

Fellas, I was concerned that the POWERS or worse had gotten not only the Bird but Six also and had him tied up in his own g room. As a plea for help he said Rossis are OK. GMack better go down and check out that that was not a clue to his predicament. Seems he may have broken free like the Birdman.

I am sure the real Sixer is turning the wheels to figure how this all makes sense, investigator that he is.

He is somewhat off base with his conjectures so far. Give him a C- at this point.

There are numerous encampments here in the High D. That one is up scale with RVs, most are just tents.

Yes...it's very true I have isolated myself...very true........when you've been f over as many times as I've been by friends, family, co workers and bros on the street you would to. I know all about mean people in mc.......spent a fair amount of time around them....those guys meant what they said...."friend" was P of the Mother Club of the Pagans......nunya & Argo......hanging out in houses where the living room had multiple Harley's parked. I lost my nerve and slowly cut ties....long time ago.

99% of bro's have no honor .....may be fun to hang around but will forget about you in a flash if they see a small personal gain coming their way from you.....even if it means you will lose your job......

I haven't traveled a whole lot. I have traveled some, though. More importantly, I have done it recently.
This country is a joke. A sad joke.

When we left Kodiak a couple weeks ago, there were 3 or 4 Russians in the airport. They probably came to the island working on a boat.They were with us as far as Seattle. They never once put on a mask. Not once.
More importantly, nobody said anything to them. We sat for an hour in the small room past security in the Kodiak Airport. Nobody said one word to em. All they dared to do was come over the PA system every 10 seconds saying "masks must be worn" and "nobody could board without a mask", and not wearing a mask was in violation of FEDERAL LAW with serious penalties. They just laughed and kept right on talking amongst themselves.
When we got on the plane a flight attendant said to them, "sir, you need a mask", the guy held it up and waved it around.
I remember when it was Americans that had this kind of sack. No more. Nobody said anything to these guys because help wasn't there with them. They were worried about what would happen before help showed up. Period.
People in this country are too worried about an anxiety attack or wondering what gender they are. These boys had no such problem.
As I said earlier, they mess with Russians, and they will get their azz handed to them. Nobody gets to hold up a yellow card in Putin's army.

WW2 turned out as it did for several reasons. But make no mistake, the Germans were defeated in Russia for the most part. While we were "getting up to speed", we had a lot of help. And let's not forget, we were late to the party. Our people were fresh compared to everyone else.
Now I'm not trying to dump on the the fighting capability of the US soldiers, sailors, and marines in any way. The pacific war was handled mostly by us. But I can tell you, had the Germans stayed out of Russia, the war in Europe would have been a very different proposition for us.
Most of what beat Germany in Russia was sheer numbers, distance, and a lack of preparedness for the conditions.
All during the cold War, both the US and the Soviets prepared and built their military for a land war in Europe. The Soviets/Russia has never deviated from this doctrine. We, on the other hand, have spent 30 years playing in the desert and relying on "teams" to make little raids while playing world police and practicing how not to offend Muslims. Our upper military leaders are now chosen along party lines instead of capability.
Now, I'm not saying we would be in a no win situation with Russia in a conflict, but I DO think the US has an overblown opinion of itself and has underestimated the Russian military.

10 degrees here. Supposed to get 5 to 8 inches of snow.

That was well said and I agree with it all.......no different than WW1 when we were late arrivers.....

Had Germany invaded England and occupied it, it would really have been tough to launch a total sea invasion by the U.S......but the English are the most tenacious people in the world, and the Jews a runner up.....the English would have been having major back woods partisan programs going on, unlike the snail eating French who in reality should be dressed in white uniforms........

The allies still would have won, it's just that it would have taken longer.......the only way the axis would have won is if they had developed the nuke first....now, the Italians would have had a rough go of it as how do you run a military operation if your changing sides all the time.

And don't forget Ireland who remained neutral.....we would have jumped on their turf before the Germans had a chance......

Then the axis would have had one hell of a time invading us here on our soil.....that would have been impossible. At the time nukes were a slow making time process and this country, even like now, we have a 30 million man army......

Yea, "Vegetable Joe" is as worthless as testicles on a Priest........there's soooo much more V. Joe can do but......he doesn't want to offend anyone.....after all, it's more important to be nice........

Baby bunnies are cute but when they grow up and become waskly wabbits they aren't so cute as they eat everything and make more- then its time to release the JRTs!

So I just started thinking about ' calibers in a day ' , I had looked at the time and it was 2:20. That made me sit and think about it. I came up with these calibers on the clock.
218, 220,222,223,224,225,228, 240,243,244,250,257,300,308,310,318, 338, 340,400,450, 500,505,600,700
Sure there are other calibers on the clock but im talking about named calibers, what have I missed? ( sue me im bored)
