and tomorrow or tonight i will drive a couple hours distant to our cabin at the end of the road system, off the power and phone grids,etc. but on a lake, and with solar power and generator, and most all the comforts of home:
even my son with his laptop enjoying the pristine wilderness { but why do you need the laptop when you cant access the internet ?]

That is a just about my idea of a place to retire to. Sure looks good to me,hunting and good fishing out the front door.
