State of society
What once was the pinnacle of of private office space in the local area has now been plagued for sometime by the activities of the local roaming drug users. As evidence, break ins and these “unfortunates” going through medical refuse looking for food. There are local support services but they control drugs there. The local hospital is a magnet 300 yds away.

Re: State of society
Just a result of the Dems allowing it all to go on uncontrolled. not to worry though Cali Gov newsome has it all under control. . they allow riots over the Rittenhouse verdict?...... yesterday Nordstrom's in San Fran was hit by an organized gang of 80 looters. this lawlessness is getting worse no matter where We live.
when the wealthy leaders all live in gated communities and are insulated from reality this is what We get. No end in sight.

Don't worry, the bleeding hearts will persuade Sleepy Joe to give the "unfortunates" more of your tax money so they can buy more drugs and still raid the bins for food.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Re: State of society
I think the socialist democrats are under the impression that the junkies will vote for them!
Now that the felons in prison could now vote!
Are the illegal criminals sneaking in to the country allowed to vote?
If California allows them to obtain a driver license, I'm sure they would allow them to vote!
It seems the law in blue state's back the criminals and not the American citizens.

Re: State of society
Seems like that qualifies as organized crime. But there is no will to do anything about it. When does this become untolerable? Must Nordstroms go to a different model and only sell online to avoid these kinds of losses?.45colt wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:29 am Just a result of the Dems allowing it all to go on uncontrolled. not to worry though Cali Gov newsome has it all under control. . they allow riots over the Rittenhouse verdict?...... yesterday Nordstrom's in San Fran was hit by an organized gang of 80 looters. this lawlessness is getting worse no matter where We live.

I understand that there are so many drug stores closing that it is affecting people's ability to obtain their prescriptions.

Re: State of society
This area is what you might refer to as the medical district. As I mentioned there are roaming homeless drug addicts about. Actually one comes from a local wealthy family but is on heroin when we see him ranting at traffic cones and the like. If the cops pick them up they are soon released. One couple broke into the ladies bathroom, were naked in there and refused to leave until the cops drug them off. There are multi million $ construction and reconstruction projects going on around us here.
It is much worse in areas in the CA cities as you are seeing on the news.

We lived in Sacramento and Susanville for 11 years as a result of military service, this was back in the 1970's. California was a wonderful place then, sorry to see the socialists have reduced it to a third world country. k

Get a mess of syringes that are new in the packaging ..........carefully unwrap them and fill em up with antifreeze then package them back up and mark them "morphine".
As preposterous as it sounds I believe that's the only thing that going to work at the stage our country is in.-----006
We are faster becoming and looking like third world countries. Dirt bags breed more dirt bags. Can't imagine what this country is going to look like in 20 more years.....won't last 50 years at this rate.

Re: State of society
I watched all summer about the people in Cali at Venice beach dealing with the hundreds of homeless living in the tents. the business owners struggling to stay open when no one wanted to come to what had been a paradise. all these people who are low or -0- income but can afford drugs or cheap booze to stay zoned out.
I live in a rural area where it's starting to come here. within a one mile circle of my house there are people living in small campers or tiny house shacks in the woods. at least six right now. most are clearly not working as there is no rhyme or reason to what they do. cars coming and going at all hours = druggies. How long before We start seeing robberies around here.?
My real hope is for the weather to get cold and stay for a few months like it did last winter. they can't handle it.

Re: State of society
There's no area of this once great nation that is not inundated with meth and opioid abuse. A surprisingly large number of the users seem normal and go to work everyday.
I'm not sure alcohol abusers are in any better shape...they just die slower.
