If I could put words to paper like you, I have an idea for a Halloween Fright/Horror story...
Imagine;
A bum decides to warm up on one of those NYC steam grates. He falls asleep, and after his clothes are wet with condensation he drops off to sleep. Meanwhile, the temp takes a sudden turn to the sub-freezing and from the shoulders down, he's encased in ice.
Unable to move, he is slowly eaten to death by the rats that are lured to him with all his screaming.
