Got home last night from CSA

Post by JimT »

Been 'way up North in Arkansas this last week, at CSA. Met with some old friends and made some new ones. It was a lovely time making a joyful noise ... from .22's to .50 BMG's. A couple evenings we spent sitting around a fire and sharing old stories and new ones. It was GREAT!

Me with the 1862 Police Model and 20 gr. of 3Fg and a round ball ...

A great time was had by all, from the reports I've read so far. Hate missing out on it, but such is life. It's fun to live it vicariously.

I really wish I could have made it this year. But Kathy ended up in the hospital over the weekend and it was a good thing we were here.

This is the property where CSA is held. I took this photo on top .. you drive down an old pig trail or logging road into the bottoms where a "holler" is cleared out. The meet is set up there. A beautiful spot!

Didn't Jed Clampett used to live in the next holler over?

This is a wonderful gathering and I highly recommend attendance. Fine folks and you know we don't know exactly what tomorrow may bring. But it has been too long since I sat by a fire at night with good friends and good conversation. I need to fix that.

It was really nice getting up there this fall. I really didn’t think that would happen. It is always refreshing spending a few days with friends.
