recently there were some sceptical comments to the effect that mandates are not illegal and unconstitutional. doing homework on the topic i have some current info that actually defines mandates as illegal and unconstitutional. these legal precedents could multiply as people finally get on their feet. the lightfoot dictats are bound to experience heavy blow back, same with every "democrat" administration exercising tyranny. i hope.

Dallas County Judge, Clay Jenkins, has been issuing similar edicts. A woman who owned a Hair Salon defied him and rezopened for her workers to be able to make a living and avoid starvation. ClayJ, he fancies himself a rapper style thug, had her put in Jail. Governor Greg Abbot had her released and issued guidelines as to what the entire State was to do. His guidelines give some local leeway, and they attempt to prevent unneccessary harm to businesses. He is sort of stuck between Scylla and Charybdis in doing what is right and following Federal Mandates.
