Bent Magazine Tube
Howdy y’all. I’ve got a Rossi 92 in 45 LC, and I bent the magazine tube when my 4 wheeler went rolling down a 30 foot bluff while I was chasing cows in the mountains. Is there any way I can straighten it to where the rifle will work just fine? Or does anybody know where I can get a replacement?

Re: Bent Magazine Tube
You can buy universal tube material already blued, and then just drill the holes needed to match the old tube. Or you could check Numrich Gun Parts to see if they have replacement tubes for the Rossi.

Depending on how badly bent, you might be able to take some steel round stock that just fits in the tube and radius the end. Then heat the damaged area and drive the round stock thru the heated tube.

Rockrat has it right.
I've done that but the metal can't be kinked. If it is you will have to hammer it at the kinked area while the mandrel is inside the tube.
After straightening it I've even seen it when people just turn the the tube either upside down or switch the front to the rear and redrilled the holes.
It's a common size, just measure the inside/outside diameter and buy a replacement from Brownells.----006

Re: Bent Magazine Tube
Since no one mentioned it, I hope you weren’t on the four wheeler when it went down the bluff.
As to repairs I’d contact Rossi.

Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Re: Bent Magazine Tube
Several good ideas on here. I would check with Rossi first to see if warranty work would be possible.

Re: Bent Magazine Tube
If it requires sending it to Rossi, vs. them selling you the tube, I wouldn't send it. The cost of shipping back and forth will make the repair too high.
here's a .45 Colt tube at Gun Parts Co. that for an Armi that might be a good start.
