no sign of wartime finish, was it issued as a trainer or a civilian model?

I believe it was a trainer/target rifle I believe ,probably used more for a trainer as being made in 1943 probably not much target shooting going on and the sights are similar to what you would find on a Mauser 98.Also the nazis banned most private ownership of firearms so chances are it played a part in training young recruits.It does have the nazi proof marks on it
