If you had to do a 'house clearing'....

This is a prototype, but I could see it eventually becoming useful - https://youtu.be/4wK4sXwD3ic

Looks handy, but he better be playin' paintball.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

I liken it to the first 'laser sights' that were a foot long and fragile (as on the '45 Longslide' in Terminator-I), versus what we have now, that are the size of a half piece of blackboard chalk, work underwater, and make a precision dot out to a hundred yards that stays zeroed even on a 308 Scout Rifle.

Give it a few years to become robust and compact, and it will likely be awesome.

Just hope the good-guys get more of 'em than the bad-guys...

Seriously, if you absolutely must clear a house, a grenade through the window first is probably the preferred method. Personally, I wouldn't clear it. I'd let them come to me. I have a couple of wonderful choke points I can cover from either cover or concealment.
