Not that I know of but I did wonder why Ruger never made one as they have all the makings...

Thanks, just thought it would be a neat rifle in a 94 action.

I've always wanted a hornet double rifle for hunting those big mean nasty hard charging ground hogs!! Hmm maybe I'd go bigger, say 218 bee!

I have one in a 218 bee. It is a model 92 with a 65 barrel. Not sure when the conversion was done but fun gun to shoot. Looking forward to letting my grandson shoot it but that will be few years.

Shasta You have a 92 with a 65 barrel . I have a 65 that I removed the (freshly relined) .218 BEE barrel and changed to a new .32-20 barrel which sorta makes it a 92..Hehhehh, Naw the .218 BEE or the .22 Hornet are devastating to small critters but there is no silhouette match that I can use either round in.
I favor a single shot Hornet or Bee as can use a pointy projectile that cant be used in a tubular magazine.

Could the old Savage 22 Hi power be altered?
Re: Has there ever been a lever action
Ruger absolutely DID indeed make a lever action 22 Hornet. I have one!

Re: Has there ever been a lever action
Yeah I agree that the hornet or bee would be better served in a single or bolt action. Mine is still a bunch of fun. For mid range varminting I have a .222 Sako that Dad brought back from Germany. I have been shooting that rifle since I was a pretty small kid and still one of my favorite guns I have ever owned. I also have a Model 25 Remington that was re-barreled to a 218 bee from a 25-20. I have been having a few feeding issues to get sorted out. I do have a 92 carbine in a 25-20 but really want to get a 32-20 to have a set.Alphawolf45 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 7:32 pm Shasta You have a 92 with a 65 barrel . Paco said that there were some 1873s chambered in 22 WCF which is the predecessor of 22 hornet and almost identical. so it could be done, or just use the 22 wcf

Re: Has there ever been a lever action
It is a Number 3 single shot which I got as a high school graduation present in 1977. Beautiful little carbine that is topped with a Leupold Compact 2x7x33 scope. One negative thing about the Number 3 is that they came with plastic buttplates... Yuck! Fortunately, there was a company in New Jersey called Blake Tool and Machine which made nice steel replacement ones that fit great. They were advertised in GUN LIST or SHOTGUN NEWS in the late 80s so I grabbed a couple. Had to live with the plastic buttplate for over a decade never knowing that steel replacements were available. Incidentally, these also fit the older Mini 14s with the carbine style curve (similar to those found on the Winchester 92 and 94). More recently Ruger made a run of Number 1 rifles in the Hornet.
