I'm having no such problems, except having to log in each time...but, I'm not finding that problematic...

It hasn't worked for me since the previous update. But what does work is to go to the top of my screen and click on the "left arrow" at the top left of my browser screen. That takes me back, and if I made a reply I click it twice to get back where I was.
Of course clicking on "General Discussion" at the bottom left takes it back there also. But at the top of the page.

I, too, have not seen for some time a link near the top of the forum posts to take you directly to the General Discussion page. The farthest link displayed there is the main Community index, from which you can click on the General Discussion.

Regarding having to log in each time, this was seen before and had to do with using unencrypted access. I, like many others, had a browser bookmark to this site made long ago. If you edit your bookmark and see access as http:// (at the start of the address) then it's requesting an unencrypted link and will not log in directly. You want to use https:// access every time. Change your bookmark; or delete the old one, use https:// to address this site, log in, and then create your new bookmark.

David the Tech Wizard is working his fingers to the bone during this current situation. I sent him an email. Considering the fact that no one's making money off the site, rather it's financed by the voluntary contributions biannually, we don't have funds to do custom work on the system. David volunteers his time and installs the standard PHPBB upgrades that roll out from the forum community. We'll see if we can get these issues addressed, but David's bread and butter take precedence.

Thanks. Got a message from David and as I mentioned, he's up to his hips in a swamp full of gators right now as far as work goes. He's put a Round Tuit into the queue, but paying gigs (and formal responsibilities) take precedence.

Thanks for letting us know of glitches and such. And thanks for your patience as we work at patching them up.
