Is everyone in England that poor and destitute to where they have to drive old smoky cars?

That does look like fun...sounds like an ww2 fighter plane engine in there-----6

Fabulous! Thanks Bill. It was common practice, in that car's era, to take an aircraft engine and build a race car around it.

Doubt it's over 50 hp, and likely less. Not a need for much tire. My old Austin 4 cyl. was rated 8hp, and guesstimates said it was likely more at the crank.
