this has an update every 6 hours and subdivides into 3 different regions, and is a very deep site with LOTS of info..
it is very gratifying to see how ABSOLUTELY GINORMOUS these weather systems actually are.
it is stupifying to see how FAST some of those Lows are moving across the Pacific.
the curious will be rewarded by some study time por ejemplo, you can watch a weeks worth of these forcasts in an animation
it is stunning to think that there are human beings who actually think they can control this
anyway, I hope someone shares my appreciation of these charts

My dear ol dad was an airline pilot, his life revolved around flying. Float planes, single engine- multi engine, air ambulance and he even flew mail before he strapped on a jet. Not to mention a flight instructor. Anyhow aviation weather is also one of those very interesting 'how do they figure this out ' things.
