Lubing Bullets for the 480 Achilles

Lubing the bullets for the 480 Achilles has always been a chore. Most of the time I just tumble them in Lee Liquid Alox. But that can be messy also. And when I want lube in the lube grooves ... especially in the Huffaker bullet .. I had to fill them by hand. With the new Killebrew bullet I wanted the lube in the grooves and somewhere along the way I suddenly woke up!

I bought a .476" die for my lubri-sizer!!!!

Run the bullets in nose first and HEY! Lube in the grooves.

Sure .. some lube on the nose of the bullet that wipes off easily and it's done.

When the weather improves enough so that I can get to the range I will be ready!

It is nice but anymore the bulb seems kinda dim. :shock:
