Just swilled down some coffee. Gonna head across the lawn to the old man's and see what trouble he got in today. Must be getting ready to put the ice shack up to the lake.
The wife got me the 9 disc set of "The World at War" series from 1973. If you're a WW2 buff, it's a must have. I remember watching it on PBS with my dad on Saturday nights when I was a kid. Got me hooked on WW2 stuff.
Not only awesome footage, but most of the major players were still alive. Interviews with Albert Speer, Omar Bradley, Jimmy Doolittle.
Guess it's safe to say I'm a weirdo. I've had the theme song as a ringtone on my phone for years.
