I am in need of chamber dimensions for a .348 Win. Model 71. Does anyone have a drawing they can share, or can anyone point me in the right direction to find such?

Thanks very much. Joe

I had a few posts from about a year ago, but they somehow got wiped out when this site went into temorary remission some time back. I "re- joined" somehow in December apparently it says.
This is a great place and I lurk here a lot, but never have much to say. Great bunch of folks here. Thanks! Joe
The dimensions from Dunlop's drawing match those that SAAMI puts out. SAAMI will sell you an older version of their standards; see their web site. Most of the rest of the world follows the standards of Europe's CIP, and they have their standards on their web site. I'm surprised Steve's Pages is still up; there's so many copyright violations on that site that it must be only a matter of time. This site got in hot water for such, and they have been redrawing theirs, but they have a long way to go to finish.
I'm going to do a chamber cast on a Model 71 Win, thus the need for the chamber dimensions. My customer fired a serious overload, and now factory load empty cases appear to be excessively largely expanded in the body area. There is some headspace, but nothing to be too concerned with in a well used lever action.
This fellow thought perhaps he used WW231 instead of WW760.
If so, it's amazing that the gun is still in one piece, and him too!
