If I've somehow irritated or offended someone unintentionally, I presume they will tell me before resorting to hiring an assassin.
(If I did it intentionally, then that's a different matter... )

If someone manages to irritate or offend me (first of all good luck, as I don't hang my emotional well-being on that sort of thing), then I'll probably just not interact with them much, and my life will go on just fine, as will theirs.

I don't always get to read every post. Some threads I may not see either. I think I may miss a lot here. And.....I'm not very bright...... and can be kinda obtuse.
I tend to just get on for a few minutes at a time. This is a great place. It's the only forum I really care about.

No offense but I really don't care what you guys think of me. I know who I am, and I know why I believe what I believe, and I know you and I have the freedom not to see things the same way. If I get drawn into a discussion I will post what & why I believe and perhaps a follow up post to clarify and disengage from the discussion in a respectful manner. End. Full Stop.

If someone wants to post something that reveals themselves to be less then respectable, that's on them. And if others can't see it right away, that's on them. Idiots don't need pointing out. They reveal themselves quickly enough.

But AJMD429, how are we supposed to tell when yer serious or jes kiddin'?. I get embarrassed easier than offended so, but I have gotten in heated discussions a forum (mostly when another member don't know what he's talking about), but since I'm usually right, I just let the go about their life.

I was offended by a gun I have (not a levergun, but an old style). I got a SAA clone in 45 Colt and the first time I took it out I managed to split a thumb nail. Somehow I wrapped my shooting hand around the grips so my thumb got hit by the top of the back strap right where it screws into the frame. It didn't hurt for a few cylinders full, as I guess I was pretty excited, but soon the pain and blood interrupted my sighting. Live and learn a better grip...

I guess I just tuned it out. I work retail and sometimes people come in looking for an argument. You just learn to ignore the people who want a fight because they are of no value in your life. Disagreements are different. I feel as if a disagreement with respectful discourse can be worthwhile as you may learn something. Respect is the key in my opinion.
