This is a real easy conversion at least on a Easy-Go cart.
There`s a splined shaft on the rear end and the other splined part in on the electric motor which ya have to cut off weld your sprocket too and put a couple set screws in.
After gutting out where the batteries used to be ya gotta build a frame and platform for the motor, i used a 6.5 hp Predator.
Turned out nice and works good.

Airedale mechanics need the highest test scores of any of the services it qualify for the tech schools. Give them a rubber band, a hunk of balsa and a few basic hand tools and they'll build a Mach 3+ fighter with stealth and nuke capabilities.
Looks Good Pitchy. You have entirely too much fun.

Hey that's a great conversion! Never thought about converting a battery to a gas engine. Guy I know did swap a blown gas engine for a twin 13 hp, only issue he ran into was the twin spun differently than the original, forward was reverse and reverse was forward. On the first test drive he rolled it! After the bruises healed up he fixed the damage, repainted it and sold it.
Looks like fun. Can you haul wood and other stuff with it?

Lenn, that Predator seems to have plenty of juice for your new ride. How does it do with a second passenger?
I see snow tires on the rear and a ski up front for when the snow starts!
Not sure how much further you want to go but …… Harbor Freight has some nice, reasonably priced light bar. Grounds guys at the University mounted one on the golf cart the University Police use to patrol student housing. Lights up the area quite nicely.
Thanks fellers, Bill Norma was riding along and it`s real peppy it has plenty of power, the rear end in these carts are geared pretty low.
wm thoses are nice light bars but i don`t think i`l be running it at night much.

I like it when people fix and re-use stuff instead of throwing it out.
Sometimes you can do that on humans, too.

Seems like you may have taken a shine to these Predator engines. I was amazed at the number of performance upgrades people in the aftermarket are making for them.

Right after I broke my back my wife suggested that I get a golf cart for getting around the place here. I've seen some that were made to run on gas right from the factory. Electric seems to be the most popular around here. Nice job on converting that one!
