Lawn mower build update ( video added )

I got this mower about 25 years ago, i had it running at that time but it has sat in the shed since then.
Got it out last evening and new it wouldn`t have any spark so had to pull the flywheel which was the hardest flywheel to pull i`ve ever seen.
Cleaned the points and it now has spark so in a while we are going to see if it will live again.
By what i`ve found it was made by Bolens in 1950.

Lenn, that's a beauty as far as the industrial design of the engine and mowing deck. Almost belongs in the Museum of Modern Art.
Would that have been a Bolens-designed engine? Wonder what the original paint job looked like. Sounds like she's a strong runner.

I can honestly say that Bolens is a strange duck- I've never seen one like that before. The fact that is approximately 70 years old and still runs is a testament to the design. You are the Master !

Got the new Lifan 2.5 hp motor today and put it on the Jari mower, looks like it will work great pouring down rain so can`t test any further.
